Saw-timber production

The production base is located in the village of Bochkino, Pervomaisky district. It goes through a full cycle of processing of roundwood.

Timber for sawing is delivered to the production base by timber trucks, directly from our plots. Unloading of logs takes place in special site, from where they come to the first stage of processing.

Stage of production

At the first stage, the initial preparation of the log is performed on the machine with a band saw. From a round log, we make a billet of a certain thickness, for further sawing into boards.

The quality of our saw-timber is very important to us. That is why the band- saw blades are sharpened every 2 hours, which eliminates the “wave” when sawing.

These half-finished products are sent to the next stage of processing.

Sawing on boards with circular saws

The next stage of processing is sawing the blank into boards.

In order to achieve high quality and precise geometry of saw-timber, we use machines with circular saws for sawing logs into boards. Thanks to disk saws, the correct board geometry is maintained, size jumps and “wave” are excepted, which is typical when sawing on tape machines.

Sorting and drying

After sawing, the saw-timber passes through a manual sorting zone , where it is divided into grades and boards with defects are rejected. Sorted boards are placed on the strip in the drying packages and moved by a fork lift truck in the drying chamber.

The next stage of production is drying saw-timber the  to the required humidity.

Drying takes place in a soft mode due to which, after drying, we get a board without warping, effect of «propeller» and cracks.

The capacity of a single load of drying chambers is 160 m3 of lumber.

We use our own boiler house to heat the coolant in the drying chambers. It has a water heating boiler with a capacity of 1 megawatt an hour, working on sawmill waste. Its capacity is sufficient for the smooth operation of two drying chambers, heating the office, garage and utility rooms. That is why our production is almost waste-free.

After drying, part of the saw-timber is transported to the section for further planing, the other part is transported to the finished product storehouse.

Planed Board

Planing of a board occurs on machines, at once from four sides. To order wishes, we can produce planed saw-timber of any size and cross-sections.

In addition to planed  saw-timber we produce: blockhouse, flooring board, terrace board, lining, imitation of squared beams

We also produce custom-made reels for winding electric cables, various boxes for collecting and storing fruits and vegetables, both dry planed and natural humidity, pallets and Euro pallets according to individual customer drawings.

Shipment of finished products

Before loading on transport, the finished product is placed in transport packages with wrapping from five sides in a dense film.

The total capacity of sawing in the round forest is 30,000 m3 for a year, the production of dry and planed lumber is 12,000 m3 for a year, the production of construction boards and boards for boxes and pallets is 6000 m3 for a year. The quality of saw-timber corresponds to Public  standards 26002-83 and 8486-86.
