The history of the company begins in 2007, when it was a small power-saw benchl in the village of Yuryevskoe, Yaroslavl region.

The company developed and the territory in the village became small. In 2009, we moved to the production base in Bochkino. This was the territory of the former state farm. We moved almost to a bare field, the only advantage was a large territory of 18 hectares and a small distance from the M8 highway, It was about 1 km.

Since the same year, we have been engaged in independent logging. At first, these were small capacities, about 2000 cubic meters in a month. During short time, based on economic expediency, it was decided to install a 1-megawatt wood waste boiler house and two drying chambers, each with a capacity of 80 cubic meters, a four-sided machine for the production of planed boards and mouldings.

The capacity of harvesting increased and in 2011 when we received a lease from the auction of a forest plot with an area of 18 thousand hectares and an estimated cutting area of 47 thousand cubic meters.

2014 – ARAGON was established.

2015 – the company received at auction a forest fund with an area of 9 thousand hectares and an estimated cutting area of 30 thousand cubic meters.

2019 – Aragon receives another forest plot with an area of 18 thousand hectares and an estimated cutting area of 45 thousand cubic meters.

Today, ARAGON is an active developing company that specializes in logging, production and trade of roundwood, as well as saw-timber.

Annual production capacity for 2020 are:

• 100 thousand cubes in the round forest
• 18 thousand cubic meters – production of dry and planed saw-timber

The company is a tenant of forest plots, independently harvests round wood, has its own woodworking base and a railway siding. The company’s production activities are located in the Yaroslavl region, on plots of more than 45 thousand hectares.
